Ikr!! I love how the kdramas have evolved! From having a rich, handsome, overbearing boyfriend who forces his 'love' onto the girl, to portraying a real relationship which has its flaws and imperfections but can still be beautiful. Something with which we can actually relate.
To be honest, men like that don't exist so it's not exactly realistic. I have never seen a case where an individual has said that they'll wait for a person inspite of all the odds against them and has actually meant it. People usually get tired quite easily. No one really waits based on one person's whim.
Prakrati that's because most people have not truly love. Their love is transient and conditional. People hardly love with unfeign love these days. Even in marriages most people say for "better or for worst" but the moment worst comes at least one party is ready to jump ship. It is selfishness to be honest, but most people are only sticking around so long as they are benefiting advantageously. And IF they happen to think the grass is greener in another pasture, they are ready to disrespect you and you'd even wonder if there is suddenly a stranger in your house. But truthfully these things don't happen overnight. They are gradual. But we oftentimes close our eyes to see it, or we are just in denial and don't wish to acknowledge it until it reaches the zenith

He nails the character every time. I have seen many kdramas but the way he showers his charm is just exclusive and heart throbbing..

I’m so picky on movies or tv dramas especially if I have to read translations, but with good kdramas like this I can sit and suffer. I’ve watched few kdrama and One Spring Night is superb, one of a kind, #1 in my list so far. I really love, the storyline , characterization of the actors/actresses, music it’s a total package. I fell in love every episode, the more the story progressed I fell deeper and deeper. One Spring Night is reality, it happens to people, no matter what skin color, race, rich or poor, this is reality.

This drama was 100x better than Something in the Rain (the chemistry was out of this world between the actors but the plot was so bad and exhausting). That one stressed me out so much that I didn't even bother watching the ending. One spring night had the perfect balance of everything.

i know they wanted to use the same actress from "something in the rain" but NO way could she have pulled this role off like this actress did. to be honest the other drama was just a train wreck from start to finish. but this one will become a classic.
@J.Nord really, it wasn't, the kidnapping, the out of control over acted mother. the woman pushing 40 but still acting like she's 22. the storyline being all over the place. when she needed a lawyer to help her fight her company she didn't turn to her ex who owed her a favor for not get him arrested and disbarred? it went for shock value instead of having a story that worked. that's why Son Ye-Jin declined the role, she knew it was terrible and the only reason it did good was because of her name.

I really liked them and felt they had great chemistry, but I felt completely exhausted by all the crap Son Ye-jin's character had to put up with (awful bosses at work, an essentially abusive mother and even her brother blames her for stuff that wasn't her fault) and she just takes it all. Also, the couple spent the entire second half of the series apart or in crisis, and it wasn't until the very last minute that they got back together and the series didn't give us enough time to come to trust that they'd learnt from their experiences and would be able to overcome their past difficulties. One Spring Night did all that much better: healthy, open communication, a family that for the most part accepted Hae-in's character, and they gave the audience a much more satisfying happy ending for a full episode or more.
After watching, i have loved these couple so much. I watch these 2 dramas One spring/Something in the rain over n over again. Waiting for another project for Jung Hain and Hanjimin.
Something in the rain has more skinship and heart fluttering scenes but JHI and Han Ji Min'd chemisty is more palpable on and off screen, in my opinion.

if they did, both of their careers would be over. sure they might get bit parts, but it's not the same as other cultures. and if they got a divorce, well I'm sure you watched this drama, you have a good idea what I'm saying. but i do agree with you, they are perfect together.

To be honest, I didn't like Jung Hae In in Something in the Rain, but this is different. His chemistry with Han Ji Min is very natural. From some behind the scenes vids, they seem very comfortable with each other. One Spring Night is definitely a classic, and it is on my list of top faves.
@@carmel8734 yeah i seen the same behind the scenes vids, and i kept thinking the same thing. where there's smoke there's fire. they were just to happy on-set. i really at times feel bad for the actors and actresses over there at times. it seems like they can't afford to have a life outside the studio's watch. but it would be nice to see them together IRL.

@J.Nord really, it wasn't, the kidnapping, the out of control over acted mother. the woman pushing 40 but still acting like she's 22. the storyline being all over the place. when she needed a lawyer to help her fight her company she didn't turn to her ex who owed her a favor for not get him arrested and disbarred? it went for shock value instead of having a story that worked. that's why Son Ye-Jin declined the role, she knew it was terrible and the only reason it did good was because of her name.

I really liked them and felt they had great chemistry, but I felt completely exhausted by all the crap Son Ye-jin's character had to put up with (awful bosses at work, an essentially abusive mother and even her brother blames her for stuff that wasn't her fault) and she just takes it all. Also, the couple spent the entire second half of the series apart or in crisis, and it wasn't until the very last minute that they got back together and the series didn't give us enough time to come to trust that they'd learnt from their experiences and would be able to overcome their past difficulties. One Spring Night did all that much better: healthy, open communication, a family that for the most part accepted Hae-in's character, and they gave the audience a much more satisfying happy ending for a full episode or more.

After watching, i have loved these couple so much. I watch these 2 dramas One spring/Something in the rain over n over again. Waiting for another project for Jung Hain and Hanjimin.
Something in the rain has more skinship and heart fluttering scenes but JHI and Han Ji Min'd chemisty is more palpable on and off screen, in my opinion.
I love the way She makes the propousal!!
The kid in this drama got the most crucial , innocent yet realistic dialogues. ❤️
